Sho.. I'm trying to record for my 100 Subbies video. I'm using a Razer Carcharias mic. The only way that I know of to clean up an audio file as best as I can is to use Noise Removal in Audacity. The problem is... I'm recording 2 guitars. Of course, the recording's not gonna be studio quality, but meh I think that I can't differentiate every single note being played.

Other than buying another mic, what other options do I have to improve the quality of my audio?

You could maybe record the guitars separately, like you play one, and then play the next track along to the first one. That's all I can think of, that's how I did my 2 guitars :)

Actually, I'm recording with my sister. D:

Hmm.....well, the only way I can see it being done is either separate tracks, 2 mics, or if it was electric/electro-acoustic taking a line out of the amp and directly into the PC, but that all depends on what you are doing :/

Is the problem about background noise and white noise on the recording?

If this is the issue, I might be able to clean the recording for you.

Nope, it's not an electric acoustic guitar. Just a normal one. :/ That's the problem. D:

Background noise actually. Thanks, Stuffles! I'll let you know if I'm having trouble. :)

Btw, is there anything I can do to make my recording sound clearer? Don't have any professional mic, so meh.

Not really... most of the work is done via Mic. :/

I mean if it's back ground noise and echo reduction you also want to deduce, there's a bunch of stuff you can do. Example, if you record in a bedroom, you and hang thick blankets on the walls to dampen the sound and also reduces exterior noises.

Well, if you don't have a foam part or a pop filter for your mic that can really reduce background nose getting one :)
