audience retention

Basically how long someone watches your video for until they decide to stop it or close the tab that they were watching it on. he higher the percentage the better, because people are watching your videos for longer![DOUBLEPOST=1397813993,1397813914][/DOUBLEPOST]
Over 40% is pretty good, even in the 30%'s
well thats good to know :) what do youtube famous people get? like 1mil+ subs? :)

im kind of a stat junkie, i wanna do more of the videos that gets loads of likes and views and have a high audience retention :)
I forgot to mention that every few months my audience retention goes down a lot, then goes back up, and so does my monthly earnings, I don't know why. Especially in february and january! Then they go back to normal in late march/april.

Yeah, it seems that people think my face is more interesting than games xD
No offence, not sure if you improved but when we first met I checked out your roller coaster video, ... I had to push to watch it. Though I do that to quite a few gaming videos.

Half a video dosen't really seem that high, but still good. A lot of people don't seem to stay till the end, so 45-60% sounds pretty good.

It will be much better if you compare your initial channel audience retention with your present one. This will let you know what is the future of your channel.
We started with below 40% but now it is well above 50% and rapidly rising.
Even better - compare the changes in your average view duration time - this one almost tripled for our channel during the last one year and a half.
If you want real and sustainable growth of your channel you must constantly work to improve these metrics.
