Audience Engagement Tips?

Lately, I have been really trying to engage my audience.
I ask a question in the end of my videos, but most of the time, very few answer.
A couple weeks ago I tried the "FountainFilm Audience Challenge"

It was somewhat successful, but I was wondering what you guys thought and if you had any tips.

your intro You used it too many times. Once is enough. When you announced your last weeks video then showed it again at the outro I was confused as to why you did that. But your video was not that bad man. I'd just have the intro and the outro with the subscribe annotation and last weeks video. But your doing a good job engaging your audience if you have people participating in your contest. I'd remind them at the beginning at end of your video.
