At the point of despair........

subs come and go, like you said when youre at rock bottom where do you go? only up from there and btw you just gained a subscriber/support from me. :x never give up my fellow youtuber and remember things will get better

I'm on a downer myself at the moment to be honest.
Not made a new video for 2 weeks as I've been busy, but I do have a couple of uploaded videos that I haven't made public yet so I am trickling those out. Sometimes you do just need a small break now and then. Its just like when you go to work and take annual leave now and then to rest and recharge!

Give it a while and you'll find yourself wanting to create more content again. Don't just create content for the hell of getting something uploaded. You won't lose subscribers just because you haven't uploaded something for a white. I've not uploaded for several weeks at a time in the past and I still gain subs at a steady rate. Its better to get quality content up, and that's what will get you views and subs.

Remember, quality, not quantity.

This is a great point. I think we all get bummed out during low points. I feel it a bit all the time, as I've put a lot into this channel for so few views and 7 subscribers. Maybe you should have a break, but either way, keep your chin up! It gets better!

Thank you all for the great comments. Very usefull !

And thanks for the sub Thomas. I lost another one last night, but hey ho :)

I really ain't interested in the money aspect of youtubing. I do quite well irl, so the money side of things really doesnt bother me at all. With a fresh perspective this morning, I'm going to re-record the corrupted file and get back on the saddle. It just seems like too much of a guessing game when you arent a big name partnered with a large network and you dont know if you are going to slip under the Content ID Match radar, or the work you just put in is going to be a waste of time because the overzealous publisher won't allow you to give out free advertising for their game. I KNOW WE DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS, but some indicator of wether or not we would be allowed to publish a walkthrough on youtube seems to be a glaring omission somewhere along the line.

I thought I would have learnt my lesson after the same thing happened with Devil May Cry, which I was really enjoying but wouldnt have bought otherwise. One Content ID Match later on episode 4, and I've wasted my time with a couple of hours of footage.

I guess the lesson would be, if you werent going to play the game in your own time anyways, dont pick it up hoping to get under the radar on youtube. If you do get stung for copyright matches, at least you would have played it anyways :)

we all have felt like quitting or giving up on making videos. If you look at the big youtubers they've been doing it since 06 and some even 05. I had to start over since google decided to disable my adsense account how do you think that made me feel? But its just apart of the game called youtube. But what I do when I feel I hit a brick wall I just keep going no matter what because theirs going to be a lot of days that are not fun minus the ones that are and I remind myself to always have fun somehow while making videos and to make videos that I'd want to watch.
