Would you want to be a recognized Youtuber? -if yes, would you be able to handle people stalking you, constantly talking about you positively and negatively?
OR
Would you want to remain anonymous , but still make youtube videos?- meaning you can enjoy making videos (such as videos with commentaries or animations, or tutorials without showing your face) while enjoying your normal life.

I wouldn't want to be like Pewdiepie levels of recognition, but I'd take a few hundred thousands people worth of notoriety.
Same, I'd love that Silver play button! To receive something physical in recognition of what you achieved would be awesome, I wouldn't want to be stopped every 10 minutes while out with friends, family etc. :p

I honestly don't care where it goes. I doubt anyone would start recognizing me on the streets in a random town. I do get recognized at Cars and Coffee, but that is a given. I doubt I will ever attain stalk-able status. And even if, you'll have some legwork ahead of you before you find out who I am in the real world.

Truth be told, I thought I would become recognized by making AMVs and compositions about 5-7 years ago, but that fell through almost immediately. So I decided to prioritize this past february and look at other ways. People like Rhett and Link, Hannah Hart, Tyler Oakley, Jenna Marbles, Sawyer, Pewds, etc etc all gave me a lot of inspiriation and Hannah, Tyler, and Sawyer I just discovered like this past february. The rest of them...early spring last year. I am not sure whether I would want to be like Pewdiepie famous, but I want to be people to get in contact with these people and just..talk to them about whatever and possibly collab with them. I just want to be well enough known to where I can reach out to people whether it be with general topics, or geeky stuff. As of, again, February, I began to look at things from a different perspective and became a bit more mature in my views and I find myself being able to focus more. And it's a good feeling. (apologies for the sermon but that is the truth XD) I don't want to have stalkers but I wouldn't mind some recognition.
