some one just throwing in special effects from sony vegas pro... and htinking its SUPER hard and stuff .. while there is a synq button and everything.. and i say that you need to do mroe then draging effects in a video

It does sound a little like you might be being more condescending that constructive, but obviously without seeing what you actually said I can't be certain that's the case.

Some people also just don't take criticism well. They ask people what they think and then get upset if they do not agree.

Well, you're behaving like a bull in a china shop, have less flair than a ratmonkey and throw unasked for "help" at people, thus shouldn't be surprised when they get p****d...

This one guy went to flaunting for about 15 minutes on a MC server I was on about, how big he was on YouTube and when I mentioned I YouTubed as well, he immediately told me that I was a failure and would nobody watched my videos. I wasn't really offended or anything but for fun I looked up his channel, he had less than 5k overall views and around 300 subscribers. On the server he also claimed to make "13k an year", so yeah just wanted to share that experience. XD

A few thoughts:
-Nobody likes criticism, even if they ask for it. If someone asks "what do you think of my video?", they usually just want to hear validation.
-This transcends Youtube into many facets of life; two that I can think of are fitness and magic, which I'm both heavily involved in. Most people are too arrogant to take advice from someone else, and automatically believe their own opinions and ways to be the best. This translates to many, MANY other things...
-Did the people you offered advice to ask for your advice? If not, I'd be careful how you offer it from now on. Offer as a suggestion rather than any sort of correction. If they resist, back off and drop it.
-It's possible that they may just feel (and may be correct) that what works for you will not work for them. If you told me to put special effects into my videos to make them better, I'd have to disagree with you, and I could give you reasons why it wouldn't be a good idea. If you offer a suggestion with specific reasons why effects would improve a video, and they disagree and give reasons why they do things differently, just drop it and accept that they prefer to make their videos in a different way.[DOUBLEPOST=1371835556,1371835144][/DOUBLEPOST]Another thought: why not start a thread specifically asking other members here what you could do differently to improve? Rather than trying to give out advice as an amateur entertainer, soak up as much as you can from people who are more seasoned. Personally, I believe great content trumps special effects 7 days out of the week.

who is upset? xD i learn from others. im only pointing out.. WHY ASK for help.. if you cant understand the bad parts?!?! its useless otherwise or? you need to imporve from your mistkes :)

Why are new youtubers the most arogant?! i try to help.. then they say what they do is not easy blablablbla ( i know it isnt) then get all p****d of and crap! its soo anyoing! i love to help people, i know how hard it is to do things.

Should i just let it go? is it bad that i help, and tell people what you do can be better by small things?

From that post, it sounds like you're the arrogant one. Especially at seeing how you get p****d off, that they don't want your advice/help, without them having ever asked for it. Judging from later posts, where it seems you're basically being a smartass to them (at least that's the way it comes off here - and as such, I would assume it comes off the same way on YouTube), their reaction doesn't surprise me in the least.

People take Youtube too seriously. Unless you make a living (pay rent, buy gas, eat food, have fun) all from Youtube money, then it shouldn't be such a big deal. People with like 200 views act like it's their job sometimes

It's not up to you to decide how big a deal someone should make out of a hobby, or a job. Whether they make money (and no, it's not up to you to decide "how much" money is enough, either) or not, they can take their hobby/job as seriously as they damn well please. Sure, someone may only have 200 views, but those 200 views can be important to them, and it's not up to you, or anyone, to tell them otherwise.

Did you read all the posts?!?! i said, why ask, and then backfire? opinions are both negative and even if i am arogant on what i know , as i dont like to be judged wrong, but people need to either improve from the things or not. If they dont want to , then fine with me. but dont start going apeshit ont he person trying to help. and your of topic here xD Lets try to help people :)) not argue. BTW, you think i do the same on youtube? O.o RUDE YO xD
