Are You Hard To Impress?

Hello there! I see that you swung by my article!

So, naturally I am quite a hard person to impress. A smile on my face usually is an achievement. I am not saying that I see that my content is the best of the best, so are there any people out there who find themselves hard to impress? In my case, after I started my Youtube channel, I became even harder to impress as I knew how to criticise others and rate their work.

Do you think that it is good or bad to be hard to impress? Are you hard to impress? What do you think? :D
 
I'm in the middle I guess.
If all you post is call of duty instantly I will never like you

but it's my taste and if i'm not impressed it does not mean others wont be.

It's good to be impressed but in all reality unless you're a youtuber with thousands or millions of subs it's whatever.
 
I feel like I am hard to impress when it comes to other youtube channels. To be honest I don't even watch a lot of stuff on youtube because I find it boring or repetitive so when there's a video or channel I find interesting it's a big deal.
 
I'd say it's neutral. If someone doesn't impress easily, when you do impress them you know it's really good.
I don't wouldn't say i'm hard to impress, but my standards are very high. For instance, i used to do standup comedy so being around that i have heard just about every kind of joke out there. So i am extremely hard to make laugh, but if you make me laugh then you know it must be a really creative/new joke.

I'm easily entertained, so watching people get hurt is something I do at work daily. I also find it easy to watch animal videos. As far as people doing pranks and stuff where they are actually trying to make people laugh, I'm a bit harder to impress.
 
It probably comes down to a happy medium between the creator and how much of an effort that they put into they work, and the receiver and what standpoints they have. Its okay to have standards for yourself (hence why we are our own judge.) but if you have too much of an extreme of one or the other then it could be unbalanced.
 
Yeah I'm usually very hard to impress.
But there are a few things that always gets me going. (Like watching people hurt themselves on AFV :P)
 
I'm hard to impress for sure. I've kind of always been critical of others anyway, but after doing YouTube off and on with various channels for 5 years, watching YouTube for 9 years or so now, and being paid to produce some content for other channels as freelance work, I think I can be critical.

As you said, OP, I'm not necessarily an expert and make the best content out there hands down, but I think I make great content that is enjoyable for my audience.

I'm hard to impress!
 
It's different with everyone, someone's less and someone's more impressed.
I'm mediocre I'll say, not too easy to impress but also not too hard to impress.
