Are these good tags?

Hello everybody!

For a long time I have been struggling for what good tags are. A lot of people are saying different things, so I am just going to ask it here along with my YouTube friends!

These are the tags I used for my first part of my The Evil Within Let's Play, and the rest of my videos use the same template as tags. Yet, I don't get that much views from people who actually search these tags.

The tags:

The Evil Within,The Evil Within Gameplay,The Evil Within Walkthrough,The Evil Within Playthrough,The Evil Within Lets Play,The Evil Within Let's Play,The Evil Within Part 1,the,evil,within,let's,play,lets,playthrough,through,walkthrough,walk,gameplay,part,chapter,intro,chapter 1

Should I do something different, or are there things missing? Hope to hear some useful tips, because I really fee like I am doing something horribly wrong.

yes you doing something wrong, you are spamming tags that has nothing to do with the video. if you added more human into it then a robot then maybe you get better answers.

What tags don't have to do with it? It's a lets play video of The Evil Within, I don't see what I spam actually? SHould I get rid of the Walkthrough, playthrough, gameplay tags?

You can go to Googles keywords tool, and search up some good tags related to the videos that you are doing. It helps out a lot.

No problem ^-^ Basically make a many tags as you can to do with the word game :P
 
In my experience using freequently searched for tags will do nothing (absolutely zero) for you unless you have a moose ton of views and activity. Mainly because you will be on page 2,032 of 5,050 in the search and obviously nobody would ever get that far. So you can:
* start trying to compete on less competitive search terms
* build up the activity on your channel first and then go back to studying how to get traffic from tags.
* hope you somehow get lucky on some search term

Okay thanks, will try that. I want to build a good interaction with my viewers, but more views couldn't hurt right? Thanks for the tips!
