Hi guys,
reading several youtube-forums and youtube-blogs over the last couple of weeks I noticed that many people report an increase of growth rate after hitting a certain channel size in terms of subs or views.
For example, some youtubers report that growth is much faster after reaching 100 or 1000 or 5000 subscribers or may be after reaching 1 Million views.
I am sure you already have heard similar Storys.
I am not talking about the general idea that large channels grow faster than small ones. I am talking about hitting a certain "sweet spot" resulting in a sudden increase in growth probably due to a sudden upgrade in search ranking for example.
However, in my limited experience such "sweet spots" do not exist. I don't think that youtube promotes your more after hitting a specific channel size. Rather, I think that youtube promotes your channel gradually as your channel growths.
I just wonder, what is your experience? What are your thoughts on this topic?
