Are polaris a good network? Got an offer from them.

Hello fellow YTtalkers i have just gotten a contract from Polaris network saying how i should upgrade to Polaris from RPM (i feel pretty excited/awesome/hesitant) so i have turned to you guys for advice. What are polaris like? Good, bad? I was going to join curse for 90% rev share however in the contract it says 80% so im not sure weather i should go for it.

Also can someone explain this part (not sure if im allowed but its only numbers) it says i get 80% of revenue gained from artists channel but below it says 25% sales commission/fee and off youtube distribution fee of 10%.

Im obviously not allowed to copy and paste the contract but i also don't want to get burned as the contract period is 2 YEARS!!! which is a long time in youtube terms. So any advice would be awesome thanks.
 
2 years sounds about right, all the Polaris contracts have long terms.
But you have the power to negotiate, go for a year, not longer.

Also ask why you should give them any % of Google ads unless they are guaranteeing to fill a certain % of ads themselves because it could just come to them selling nothing and getting 20% still.
If you got 100% of Google ads I'd say they'd be motivated to sell for you.

And what are you getting for the 80% that you wouldn't get with Curse.

P.S the sales commission and distribution commission seem inline with Industry standards.
 
Well, if Polaris invited you, you should go with them as they have a lot of big youtubers under them.
