Are My Subs Active Or Inactive?

I find this really strange, our sub-count is 90 and our average views is 400- so its like the opposite to you?!
1. I have a lot of inactive subs as almost 700 of mine I got 2 years ago and nearly all don't watch me anymore, and 2. You probably have more interesting content then me

That's not the attitude! Have 90s family films taught us nothing? You gotta BELIEVE in yourself! =][DOUBLEPOST=1466602485,1466602390][/DOUBLEPOST]
Is it the cancer of YouTube or is it the ... I should stop.

Someone says to you "hey sub me and I'll mention you and sub you back. " then he makes a video mentions you for 3 seconds and then other people looking for sub for sun will sub you

It's a ponzi scheme

That does not sounds like much fun!

Hahaha sorry I have a horrible habit of being negative in myself I have had it a long time, however to be fair if you look at the amount of views I get I should be getting more for my sub count but oh well maybe one day

For all of you who say "Shoutout Sundays" are cancer I don't care it isn't against youtube rules to upload it so yea oh and also don't see how it's cancer someone explain

Its cancer because its a really bad thing and it grows/spreads very quickly. You get inactive subs, the person giving the shoutout doesn't tend to care much about the person getting a shoutout, It doesn't work, some people base their whole channels around that series, its just loads of thirsty people hoping to become youtube famous, your community turns into people who are just there because of the shoutout series, audience retention goes down, 'Hey, your channel has a lot of potential, stay active to get a shoutout!' comments appear everywhere, collabs are much better... I could really go on for days about how they are not a good idea at all, but everybody has the right to make what they want I guess :)

generally, you want to have more views than subs. Most views come from subs, but you want to make sure you are reaching new people as well. I would try to get your audience more engaged in your videos. I know I don't have a lot of subs currently, but I generally try to keep my views double my number of subs at least as a general rule of thumb. Also, I would keep an eye on your youtube analytics. This will definitely give you some insight as to where your views are coming from and how long they are watching your videos.
