Are MineCraft Videos being a Bit over done now?

Minecraft has been done to death already. It's like a giant shell over the YouTube gaming scene. I do agree the game is very fun, but the market for those videos is so oversaturated.

They were over done by 1 January 2013 I think. Only really good Minecraft "Roleplaying" stories get views, but I don't think people want to see alot of Minecraft videos anymore. I know I don't want to see Minecraft videos anymore.

Yes! This is so over done. Many channels COULD AND SHOULD make refreshing content by playing classic games such as MegaMan 2, Super Mario Legend of The Seven Stars, and Final Fantasy VI. Yet, so many gaming channels are all doing the same let's play. You're not showing me anything different than what Joey showed me in his video. There are many good games that can be shot in Let's Plays. However, too many gaming channels just care about what is now and don't realize that 100 people just shot the same video.

A bit overdone? They are way overdone lol.

There's nothing wrong with making Minecraft videos. As long as you're having fun, that's all that really matters.

Yes I would agree that Minecraft is overdone every time I see a new person introduce themselves in this forum and say that they are gaming channel. About 90% of the time it is a minecraft channel.

Just because it's over done doesn't necessarily mean you can't make videos on it, I would suggest playing a game mode that may not be so popular as Survival Games. For example you could make a video of you getting a godlike streak on Quakecraft, survive to the last wave with some friends in zombie horde, Minerware is another interesting game mode that is exactly like Warioware where you play a bunch of random mini games, and also there's Build It which is just like draw something, but on Minecraft.

Making videos on those would definitely help you stray a bit from the crowd.

At this point, I think people watch Minecraft LP's because not everyone is the same. It's more for the person behind the computer than the actual game I think. Also, people keep doing it because no 2 worlds / games are the same and if someone gives a good enough character to the video, it becomes worth-while to watch, which is why they haven't died out yet.

I got bored of Minecraft videos ages ago. I was one of the people that got the game in Alpha and I never bother to play it.
