Are makeup tutorials actually helpful?

We are talking about youtube here. Youtube is full of people making video's. What do they want? Visual Effects! Ofcourse.
Maybe it's something totally different than you do now but I'm talking about how to make someone look younger on video or older. How to make someone look dead have bruises, cuts etc.

Personally I would love to see a video on how to look pretty as a girl without make-up. Let's get personal on this one. When my old girlfriend didn't had make-up on and didn't do her hair she still looked nice and attractive. But girls feel "naked" without make-up she told me. So this might be a challenge to show you don't even need to have make-up to look pretty.

You may hate on me for saying this but I love to say it: "Girls are ignorant" :mstickle:

Haha, But make video's you like to make. And don't feel an outsider on this forum we all are different but we all are youtubers and can/will help each other out here!

thanks for the feedback. i do have a video up where i discuss not wearing makeup, and how theres nothing wrong with a womans real face. (and i am not wearing makeup in that video). im not trying to push ppl to wear makeup if they dont want to. i have mentioned in videos, if someone doesnt care about makeup, they dont have to wear it. i wouldnt like if someone was trying to pressure me to wear something i didnt want to wear. i just personally enjoy makeup, and i thought it would be fun to make videos about it. i also have tutorials up where i give tips on how to apply your blush to make your face look younger, and how to apply your eyeshadow to bring out deep set eyes. as far as girls being ignorant of their own beauty, i think that might only apply to some girls, and some guys as well. one cant really generalize and say that girls are this way or that way. i guess thats just how she felt. anyway, thanks again.
 
I really don't their a waste of time. They can be pretty helpful and there's obviously a big market on YouTube for them. The best thing to do would be make them unique to you so they'll stand out amongst the crowd.

thanks. yeah, i think im realizing, its not that tutorials themselves are a waste of time. its that ive seen so many of the same kind of tutorial done so many times, and some ppl tend to do the same kind of thing over and over. ill do tutorials if i feel im doing something thats different than anything ive done before, or different than ive really seen on youtube before. thanks.
