Approached by BBTV. Help!

ah these guys approached me recently, I also hadn't heard of them at the time,.
but unless you 'NEED' to, dont boter signing with anyone, with the build in views your getting right now you have a great chance at making it on your own with youtube and adsense :)
I never joined a network and I'm doing fine, only join one when you are sure the money you give them, will be worth it for you.

So I recently launched my Youtube channel 3 weeks ago.

My first video only got about 10k views. My second however kind of blew up. A lot of major websites and blogs wrote an article on it. It only has 30k views and some change over the last 7 days. My subscriber count is like 200.

I was approached by BBTV and they wanted to jump on a call with me. They said they loved the channel, wanted to talk about what they can offer me.

I never thought about joining a network and I don't even know if I really want to. The only reason I can suspect why they reached out to me is because nobody on youtube is doing what I am doing on my channel. It's truly unique. So I'm not sure if that's the reason or what.

With my very small stats, why would BBTV approach me to join their network? Is that the norm? And does anybody have any experience with this company?

Thanks much!
Yea I know what you mean BET came to me when I was just starting but I turned it down in hopes of just getting big enough on my own. I need my content to stay Indie because without that freedom it would truly suffer. Also great job, I never way good at oragami and would rage quit in school and just end up making paper air planes instead.

@MrPercyFrazier

Hi there! The folks saying you don't need a network are right. I've actually been with Maker for three years as of this August, and I joined when I was about your size; maybe even a bit smaller.

Try growing on your own and see how it goes. You have especially unique content and this has led to some viral video activity for your channel; this is why the networks are starting to chase you. Let 'em chase you till you are at least 200 times the size you are now, and then decide.

Freedom sent me a message after I posted my fourth video, had 150-ish views, and like 8 subscribers... Not sure why they sent me that message--I was a super tiny channel compared to yours! I don't think it's uncommon for smaller channels to get those messages... I would ignore them for now, especially since what you're currently creating is working out fantastic! =)
