No, every payment is on the same structure. YouTube collates the earnings for an entire month at the end of the month. They pay networks about week 2-3 of the following month. The networks pay you about 2-3 weeks after YouTube pays them. So someone who joined at the beginning of April would get a pretty full month first check around the beginningish of June. Someone that joined at the end of April will get a tiny payment at the beginning of June.
ie. YouTube does it's financial stuff and the Network gets paid April earnings around middle to late May. Network does their financial stuff and you get paid April earnings around the beginning to middle of June.
