The 80% is net though, I have a friend with them who`s contract is 60% gross.

They're not German and They're not under QuizGroup. They have 5 CMS's not 2 as we run a network under them. Also Content Aggregrators under them can set the percentage so 60% is what that specific network gave to that partner

Never said they were german... they`re from the Netherlands :p

They say on their site they give really high CPMs at 3-4$, that`s not actually that high so maybe that shows they don`t know what they`re talking about, plus the fact their german, makes them not ideal for an english YouTuber
they arent german, they have jsut a german channel. there english part is much bigger

I did some Google research to find out what people say about us. Therefore I would like to clear some things up.

We are not German, but our HQ is located in The Netherlands. By going to our website Zoomin.TV you can find out.

We REALLY need to update our website with the FAQ we have been building since we started this whole network in September 2012. We've learned a lot in the past months.

I'd like to state the following regarding CPM. When Youtube says your CPM is 10 dollar, a network will ALWAYS receive 55% of that money. Because 45% goes to Youtube. Over the remaind 5,50 dollar we take 20%, the rest goes to our partners. Of course 10 dollar CPM is way to high, but in that way you can get an idea. Our CPM is somewhere between 3 and 6 dollar (last checked March 2013) on average across the whole network. CPM is influenced by advertisers, and therefore the Q3 and Q4 period of the year and financially the best periods and Q1 is the worst.

They`re under QuizGroup though which usually isn`t a good thing

Nonsense. We are under nothing. We are fully independent. Zoomin.TV is a news video production company with multiple editorial teams providing videos for French, English, German, Dutch and other markets. And we are no 13-17 years olds LOL. :)

Indeed. For now at least their standards appear to be remaining pretty decent. The usual 300+ views per day, etc. One of my friends is doing the same and with 30 or so partners doesn't have anyone below $3.

I wish I had more concrete info but the project is just in the incubation stage right now. It's the only group that I've seen list an 80/20 split though. So I wonder if the $3 average is listed as a safety net. Not sure and won't know until I see numbers in the CMS myself.

The 3 dollar average is just what it is. An average. If you turn out to earn 10 dollar CPM because you had (by the miracle of Youtube) an amazing ad campaign with your vids, then you will earn 80% of the netto earnings. We honor the 20/80 split no matter the income.

Well, hope to have cleared some misunderstandings here. And if not, at least you know we take the time to check out what people are wondering about. :)

Cheers!

You're not supposed to say that.

I'd like a moderator to clear this up. The rules state that members cannot recruit for a network. They don't state that people unrelated to that network are forbidden from talking about it or mentioning it in any way.
