this features been around for a long while you hook up your google plus page with your youtube account allowing you to change the channels name to your G+ page name hence my channel my links Goofballstudios but my pages name is KdawgCreations

But there has also been a bug around for the last couple of days that seems to mix up channel names and descriptions in some cases. Especially on related videos. You might see a related video "by RayWilliamJohnson" and on the same page a video that's also by RWJ, but is labeled "by NEW VIDEO EVERY TUESDAY".
