anyone know a good website for making thumbnails

I use Adobe PhotoShop to make mine. GIMP is also good, and is basically like a free version of PhotoShop
 
Gimp is pretty good, I've got that too, panzoid is a website and is easier but on gimp you can do more but it's more difficult
 
First starting out, I used like picmonkey and little site like that which make for good ones but now I do use photoshop and I would recommend going in that direction or usung after effects to edit the thumbnail and screen cap it and crop it!

Use photoshop! Best blending features a day you can make some interesting things. If you really want get adobe illustrater to make your own logos/thumbs with more creativity reigns :)
 
I'm still a newbie when it comes to the stuff, but GIMP really is impressive. You will have to spend a few hours (give or take depending on how fast you learn) watching videos or reading up on how to use it. But the good news is that once you start learning the mechanics, it will get easier and easier to put something together that you are happy with.
 
I'll just move this to the Graphics, Intros & Music section of the forum for you :)
