hey, if anyone wants to record a guitar without a good mic, you can use a simple setup for it. you'd need a amp to headphone jack,
a headphone splitter (if you want to hear the guitar),
and a dual sided 8mm male-male headphone cord.
You would plug the adapter into the amp, the splitter into the adapter, the dual headphone cord into one side of the splitter, and a set of earphones or external speakers into the other side of the splitter, and the the other end of the dual sided cord into the mic slot on your computer, and then set the recording devise up, and voila, you have a setup which record ONLY the guitar, with no backround noises to interfere, and no need for a mic.[DOUBLEPOST=1373013653,1373013423][/DOUBLEPOST]with some tweaks, that setup can be used to record anything that can be heard through earphones.
