Anyone have Multiple Youtube Channels?

Singing

I've Got It
Does anyone on here have more than one Youtube channel that covers different topics and areas? How do you handle producing videos and keeping things organized?

I used to do this, then I moved everything onto one channel. I found that all it does is split your audience.

I've been thinking about starting a gaming channel... I don't really want to do "lets plays" but I think there's a lot of potential for comedy and doing silly stuff in games. My main channel is very "serious" in that sense and I don't really have an outlet for being a goofy ******* like I am in real life.

I probably won't, though. It's hard enough keeping one channel going...

We have two channels currently. We just started the second channel a couple of weeks ago.

It makes sense for us since we are targeting two separate audiences. If you are trying to get one audience then I would suggest one channel. Since our two channels are so different from each other, it is easy to keep them separate.

I would definitely do it on the future! I mean like, look at my channel; it's all messed up. Every week I upload different type of videos. For example, I uploaded a vlog comedy this week even though I've uploaded gaming a week ago and even a music video 3 weeks ago. But now I'm really testing out whether creating various videos are good, so far I really don't think that it is.

Yes. We have many. But we maintain regularly only one of them. The others - whenever we have some spare time and/or inspiration.
Maintaining on regular basis two or more channels is quite challenging (time consuming).

I used to run two channels and I don't think its a good idea to do that, it just becomes harder to gain audience and theres just really no point to it untill you got a good amount of audience that are complaining about having two different genres of videos on one channel.

I would like to make a second channel if my main channel takes off. My main channel is science and astronomy so it would be nice to make short films or something along those lines. I personally don't think it would split the audience because each channel would have their fan base and then a cross over sort of like a venn diagram.

I have 3 channels

Pinball/Classic Arcade
Recipe videos with the wife
Plus a fitness one thats just starting out.

So 3 totally different subjects that obviously couldn't be contained within one channel.

I have enough new content to upload to the pinball channel once a week until the end of this year, so that channel is sorted for the time being.

With the recipe channel we usually have a few videos in reserve, but will have to come up with some more next week.

So the way the first 2 are working, it leaves me with enough time to concentrate on building the new one. It's easy at the moment, but will have to do some juggling down the track I am sure :)
