Anyone get YouTube "Cards" yet?

I still don't think they're a suitable replacement for the regular annotations. Some people like to take advantage of having little surprise hotspots in their videos that maybe take them to an unlisted video.

Once you lick it, you cannot unlick it.
LMFAO! unlike********* This is what I get for going on here at work ahaha

I'm pretty sure they come with the fan funding feature. They showed up for me right after I enabled fan funding.

That makes sense. BabyTeeth4 had tried fan funding so maybe they are rolling out the beta to that group of users first.

On a side note, click-through rates on annotations are really poor. I have changed how I implement them and it has not resulted in an improved click-through rate.

I recently noticed I had to option of using these things called "Cards" on YouTube. There was a link that describes them a little more....

It appears to be some sort of fancy version of annotations, where the viewer can open up the card while the video is running and see pictures and links and other data. Unlike traditional annotations, Cards are supposed to actually work on mobile devices!

Has anyone else seen these in use yet, or gotten them for their own channel yet? I'm curious to see how people are using them. And if you have any suggestions as to how you'd like to see them used, I'd love to hear your ideas!

They actually look really useful in the pictures from your link!
