anyone else have this problem with recording

so this is really my undoing of ever doing good on youtube it is

Trying to record when parents or siblings in the house with you
so im 16 live with my bro and mum and dad so i really always want to record but i feel weird recording and talking when they are in the house so i just dont do it so i wait till i can get the house to my self but the thing is i never get the house to myself it really annoys me cause i want to make content so badly and we also have a small house so if you talk everyone hears so what can i do anyway making my room sound proof or something what can i do
 
I have the same troubles some times, when people are in the house I get a little self conscious. there is always the option of getting foam boards to sound pref, but that can be a little expensive. you can always talk to your family and get them to support you so you feel more comfortable while recording

yeah see i have a pretty judgemental family its like i love em and all but they can be very judgy with this type of stuff and they dont seem to understand why i would want to do it
and does that foam boards actually work
 
yeah soundproof foam does work because as it absorbs sounds waves and will stop the sound going through the other side. It also reduces ekko meaning your mic will pick up less feed back
 
Got same problem. I prefer to wait until my house is almost empty. Only my dog remains, but he always gives me positive review!
