Anyone else get discouraged?

When you are gaining and then all of a sudden when you upload a video, all that gain just vanishes?
Example, I had 1088 subs and I've lost 5 after uploading :/

At one point I gained around 50 subscribers and then just one day I lost 10. It happens man, no worries. (to be honest who knows? they could have been deleted channels or dead subs)

I hope that's the case. It just feels like it takes forever to gain, and YT has no problem taking away :/

I get discouraged all the time. I mean, I am new to Let's Plays and only have been around for a month, but you still can't help but feel that disappointment when you don't get new subs. It's human and I think everyone who uploads goes through it, we just have to keep working on our content and putting it out there! Many good lucks to you :)

Yup I've had a few days where I dropped 2-3 sub counts. They can hurt but overall I do my best to see them as a challenge to work harder and make better videos. I believe in the Compound Effect which happens to be what my last video is about, that is if you keep being consistent and learn from your mistakes and keep trying to improve, it will pay off in the end.

It comes and goes. The biggest thing that discourages me are long plateaus where nothing much is happening, views or subs-wise. But I like making videos, and that's mostly what I try to concentrate on.
