Anybody Have a Video Featured on TV Before?

Look up "As Seen on Animal Planet: Puppy Digging Giant Hole for Mayan Apocalypse". It is one of my lowest quality videos, but for some reason they picked this one, I think it was the content. They said I couldn't post the animal planet version because of copyrights or something, I'm thinking of putting it up as a private video on my other channel though to share with people. They just sent me a DVD of the whole hour long show. Lola was the main focus of the Mayan Apocalypse section though, lol.
 
I would only want my stuff featured on TV if I knew I was going to get some credit for it. I have seen some popular YouTuber's who have had stuff on TV without knowing it. Most of the time its because the people who do background checks for like certain stories on the news will just grab the highest viewed thing they find. That and they just assume that it will not matter because it is just some YouTube video. Personally I don't really watch a lot of TV anyway.. So I really don't care.
 
I had Animal Planet come round and film at my house last month!

I couldn't believe it, as they flew from Canada to UK and spent the whole day interviewing me and filming the cats.

It's on a show called MyPetsGoneViral on Animal Planet Canada and UK (Animal Planet USA is completely different and isolated) and should be on mid April some time..

That's cool your video got to be on TV, but nope. I haven't had any video get featured on TV. I don't think I will ever have to worry about that either. lol

hah! Do you know what? I looked at your channel from another post last night, and although the subject isn't my bag, I really liked your style and presentation. I think you have a bright future YouTube at the very least! :-)

So did they find you through youtube? That is cool that they actually came out to film you directly. I just had the recording company contact me through Youtube because they saw my Dalmatian and GSP playing tug of war video... They originally wanted that one, but I sent them links to all my youtube videos and they ended up using the digging one, probably because of the context it was used in. Post the date of the show so we can see!
