Anybody else get paranoid when they gain subs now?

well my subs have jumped up again, and i dont believe it, its almost like theyve reinstated some of the cleared out ones. i dont just get 2,500 subs in a day like that, something is up here.
i feel like some have been reinstated again, but for not im just not going to trust analytics atm untill they catch up in a couple days and i can be sure these subs are real.

yeah definetly sounds like something is going on then, i normally don't grow this fast in one day (4 subs in a day is fast in my eyes haha) and i haven't had a surge of views or anything either so something is definetly fishy, at least i know this time!
 
Becky i would suggest taking a step back from your analytics, your way too involved/worried when you gain or lose a sub, take a step back and look at the bigger picture, on a weekly or monthyl and just enjoy your growth, your going to do yourself a injury, your now worrying when you GAIN a sub! thats crazy, just keep posting, keep improving and enjoy it

regarding the jump in subs. it was widely talked about that youtube whilst doing the clearout they did delete some active subs. so they are probably just fixing that

Youtube is like another social media for me i check it a lot i can't help it, but i think i'm gonna stop posting on here for a while i feel like i'm starting to annoy everyone and i don't want a bad reputation of only caring about subs and stuff, youtube just means a lot more to me some people realise, and every subscriber means more to me then people realise it's like being unfriended on facebook it actually hurts as it's like losing a friend as weird as that sounds! and the thought of fake subs worrys me but yeah anyway i'm gonna leave this entire site for a while i never meant to come across like that but reading back my posts i think i have accidentally! I willl be back to possibly promote videos but that will be it for a little while, so bye guys and good luck with your channels see you soon :)

caring a ton about followers is natural, i can tell you are genuinely just really involved, and thats not always a bad thing. just need to keep in mind things change, be prepared for unsubs and even hate, because they happen to us all eventually. its just when youtubes messing around with your account without any warning it's annoying. - we all share that frustration
 
thats not what i meant Becky. everyone appreciate your smiley face around here. yes it sucks when i lose subs, it sucks for everyone. and most people here are passionate about their channels. just as much as you are. my point was as you said yourself your now paranoid about when you do gain subs! just be happy when you do, like everyone else

also. youtube has bugs. missing views, delayed views. missing subs,. not updating sub or view counts etc etc etc. you have to get used to those things , thats why over analyzing ever view and sub is a bad thing
 
I don't really get worried about the Purge, although it'd be great if they'd warned us about it first...12 hours to purge whoever we want, I'd start with Jacob Sartorious' account haha...okay obligatory The Purge reference :P

nah, I don't get paranoid from it. In fact it movtivates me to do even more, its followers and subscribers that keep me able to do what I do (making videos) amidst some personal and health reasons aha.
