To promote my channel?Tho im using several tricks aswell....check out my signature for one.

To promote definetly check out forums within your niche (category) that let you embed your youtube videos, this is a great way to get targeted traffic to your youtube videos. as for videos getting viewed make sure you have keyword rich titles, descriptions and relevant tags :)
 
I like LiveStrong's idea about promoting on related forums, obviously spamming isnt the way to go but if you frequent somewhere related to your channel such as a music forum and they allow embedding YouTube videos in the signatures you should add it up as you know people are always curious and will often click to watch, the same applies to links.
