Quick Tips: Audio Editing by Film Riot

A very cost effective editing program is audacity. Using their noise removal feature, you can make your videos sound very high quality. However, I mean you are close to 1k subs, and I think your audio sounds perfectly fine lol

EDIT: And damn dude, I'm loving your videos. You earned a sub from me :)

I use audition, i have noise removal down but the editing of highs and lows is what im lacking :)

I have had numerous people say that they would like me to improve my audio so im not sure what to do!?

And thanks, glad you enjoyed the videos!!

In audacity, I believe that's called the normalizer? It centralizes audio to an average volume level so you don't have outstanding low or high points, it is all "normal". I think it's called the normalizer, but I'm not sure. If it is called the normalizer, it might be the same in audition. I might be getting it mixed up with another effect's name. There is definitely something that does that, though.

Sounds like you need to use a compressor - normalizing takes the highest point of the audio and makes everything match that, which isn't really helpful, but a compressor evens out the high and low parts of the audio all so it's in the same threshold of sound. They have that in audition, with some presets, so I'd suggest messing around with that :)
