Cosmic Panda was the start this i find works in function i hope they can make more creative options with it but until then you're stuck with it when it's forced on everyone

They get a channel banner! If you enable montizing then your practically a partner!

So? It allows the site to look clean and professional and allows for more motivation for YouTubers in general to show off their creativity. Rather than just single people out with channel banners and stuff.

I suppose! But it doesn't seem like a channel. In my eyes, a channel is a place to express your creativity and your personality. My channel for example is bright, colourful and multicoloured. That's how I want it and I don't care if I get hate about it. But with one channel it just seems like a list of videos, not a channel.
