Yeah I agree with this. I don't even know if I would consider forums necessarily a good form of promoting. I find them as more of a tool for learning and collabs etc. I think if you want to promote more a lot of comments on youtube and twitter etc can help a little more.

hahaha I was on vacasion just 3 days ago and I was on vacasion for 20 days and drank Ice Tea every day xD chocking since I just read your reply now :P
 
It would depend on your content, like Frankie said. If you make gaming related videos, I would look at gaming related forums (through google) and then be a member there. I would also look at blogs that may be active, they probably draw a fair amount of traffic as well :) Anyways, I wish you the best of luck in finding the right niches for your content. :)
 
I've been to loads of other forums prior to this one and I can assure you, this is the only forum where the users are friendly, helpful and willing to offer support. In my case all the other ones were a big waste of time.
 
I've joined several forums (not going to tell you which ones, I'm afraid :p ) and I can assure you I enjoy this one the most by far, and besides enjoyment, I think it is also the most helpful.
