Any Luck With Channel Trailers?

I just did a quick channel trailer on my channel and was wondering if anyone has found the trailers to be worth putting up on your channel?

I made one. They do get a good amount of views though! I think its how you do it some times though.

They're great, they get you views when people see your channel first.

I just put a regular video as my channel trailer. Never saw the need for a trailer.
In my time on Youtube, I've only ever seen 1 trailer that ever made me subscribe. On the other channels, I found the trailer boring and skipped right to the videos. I applied this thinking to my own channel.

I like making trailers! As long as your trailers are short ( <2 minutes ) and shows a quick summary of your channel I don't see why not...

Well for gamers I don't think we really need trailers. As a gamer the videos I do for my trailers are just the current series I'm doing so I put my first half life part one video as the trailer.

Your a gaming channel. not much to describe about it.

Yeah man I get what you mean. I've been cracking my head thinking about what to do for a channel trailer. It's so hard to try and represent the best of yourself all in one video.
