Any good video editors

Hey I was just wondering if there was any good video editors that i should use I woul rather use a free one because I am a little low on cash but I might be able to get one thats not free if its not 2 expensive. ANY IDEAS????!??

The best free video editing i use is VideoPad... its simple and gets the job done! But just a secret.... you can get expensive ones for free... (I dont do it) but there is YouTube videos that give you cracks to programs like Sony Vegas, Adobe Pro ect.

Adobe Premiere Elements. Elements is the consumer line of video editors and it will do far more than you will ever need from it. It's also cheap. THe current version is 12, but sometimes (like the link below) you can find version 11 for very cheap. $30 for proper video editing software is hard to beat.
