Any Cellphone YouTubers out there?

This is the kind of day when I start two threads.

I've been trying to upload a 2 and a half minute video in full HD from my iPhone 4S ALL DAY. I shot this brief video at 8am EST, and it's now 1:16 EST - just so you have a scope of how long I've had to wait. Normally I would rip the footage from the phone through iTunes - but I'm at work and I can't connect my phone to anything that will allow me access to the iPhone's brain. I have full WiFi, and there's no problem on my workplace's internet - but every upload has stalled and failed. I can't upload to either Google Drive or Dropbox. I've tried a direct upload from YouTube Capture AND sharing to YouTube directly from my Pictures app. No dice.

How do you all do it? Do you not upload in HD? Does the 4S have upload issues? Why do apps like Google Drive and Dropbox crash and halt the upload of a file well under 100MB?

I'm about to throw my phone out the window. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Most require some sort of intermediary computer to strip the files. I can do that when I get home, but the whole point of uploading on the go was to catch the top of a news wave. I might as well make a polished video when I get home with my pro gear rather than fighting with my cellphone for some shakey footage.

You want one of us to open the window for you?

Sorry I'm on android, I don't even have a YouTube capture app. But then again: seems to be working just as good as your capture app... Ahem, sorry again...

I use my Samsung Galaxy Note, and it's amazing. The audio could be better, but it records Full HD, and I love it! I haven't come across the problem you are encountering, I don't have an iPhone, though I can tell you how I go about it, if you'd like. I normally record, USB my phone to my computer, cut files to different folder on my desktop, edit with Adobe Premiere, render, and then upload. That's all, no special tricks, :D

Work free wifi may be the problem. I've uploaded from my iPhone 5 at home and it was pretty quick. If it's not uploading you may have to give up....I know it doesn't help but I don't think there's a fix.

dang man thats crazy no ive never even shot a video on any of my phones let alone try to upload them to youtube.

I heard complaints about the Youtube App though. Like it starts off good, but sometimes the sound is off or something. Plus how do you control if the video will be fine and not upside down? I film with it to the side, to avoid black bars on either sides. If they do come out upside down, I fix that on my computer at home.
