Any Camcorder masters out there?

You can't really go too wrong here. None are going to be bad and none are going to be great. Either one will be an improvement over trying to shoot with the iPhone. I would also look at some of the DSLRs (depending on the type of shooting). They give you insane picture quality at a fraction of the cost of an equivalent video camera... and you get a really nice still camera as well
