Any Advice On Making An Intro?

I would use a funny clip from the video, those really get my attention when I'm watching someone's video.
 
I wouldnt bother myself, an intro is one extra reason for a viewer to leave immediately. If you really want one though I would use whatever editor you have and perhaps Photoshop to come up with something. If you dont you could request one in our graphics and intros requests forum we have lots of talented designers and editors here :)
 
We agree with having some sort of stinger/jingle. Taking the time to animate something and give your channel a little flavor lends some credibility and professionalism to your video. Definitely don't make it longer than 7 seconds.
