-Answered- Worth making a new Gmail?

CommMatt

Posting Mad!
--Note to Staff: I believe I'm in the correct place; my question didn't really fit anywhere else, and since Google is YouTube, I figure Google-Related stuff that affects my YouTube Channel can go under YouTube Help. Please let me know if there is somewhere else I should have posted this, as I looked over the topics and didn't find one that this fit under. Thanks. --

Alright, so, back when I was a n00b at... everything gaming... I made my Gmail for a game to "pbem" (play-by-e-mail) and thus why my Gmail is just the game with pbem added at the end.
Multiple people have told me that it's hard to remember (I keep getting asked "Dude, what's your email again?") and not to mention how odd it must be to have a random Email from a gamepbem to show up in your inbox.
Plus, how does gamepbem go with Commander Matt??

I've debated this over and over in my head. The only downside I can think of is that my password for this new Gmail account would have to be different than my usual one (no biggy) and that for every account I have, I'd have to go through and change the Email. This would be a pain in the butt for some cases (Steam and Steam Guard for example) but not too awful.
Oh yeah, and it may be quite troublesome to re-link my new Gmail to my channel.

So, I'm turning to you, YTtalk, to help me decide.

Would it be worth making a new Gmail, just to make it something more convenient?

Why change them? You can have and use multiple emails. It's actually a good idea to have a separate email for logins and one to actually correspond with people. If anyone ever tries to hack you they'll probably either try to hack your correspondence email, or into your accounts using your correspondence mail as a user name, both doesn't do them any good if that email isn't connected to anything. Worst case: they get to read your emails. But they won't get into your YouTube, Twitter, etc...

True... Never thought of it like that.
Thanks! :D
