Another RWJ wannabe channel..

Well the people who write his scripts are also paid, he is just a fraction of the expenses of his show. Though, I do not know much of the conditions of how he is able to use the videos he does in his show.

I agree with Brandon. I only recently found out about RWJ. His videos are funny and I like the style how he does the videos (showcasing each videos and comment). It is not like that style is "copyrighted" is it? :wideyed2: If the channel has its own personality, then be it. Dunno about Shane Dawson, but hey, I'd subscribe to Brandon anytime if he is a funny =O (just giving an example).

I am assuming it is like the "fair uses" maybe? Like as long as you credit them and comment on them (not the whole clip ofc), then it is fine? If anyone knows more about this then please explain :O will be really helpful for learners.

Could be. Anyway I was asking him specifically about the term "public domain" the clips aren't public domain materiel that's all :)
 
I wouldn't really complain if my video got featured on the RWJ show the guy has 6m subs that's quite a promotion!

Yes, the video uploaded is public domain as it was released, into the public domain.
It was used in a public court case against barrie city police, how can you even think for a second this isn't the case?

If you are referring to the clips in the video, you clearly did not read the description..

It stated, before I removed it.. We upload Public domain clips AS WELL AS..
The commentary that is uploaded falls well under the realm of fair use, I figured you would have known this.

Another thread where GKart posts non-sense and I tear it apart making him look like the troll/fool he is.. *sigh* this isn't even fun anymore?

BTW.. You need not give credit when claiming "fair use"

I'm the one that made the video, I co-run crayhub with a few others and this is our newest upload..


The thread should stay here, as I am asking an opinion on a third party channel and it's "copying" of others.. I'm not going to deny it's shameless plug, I wrote that i'm a little biased :)

You bring up the most irrelevant stuff. I was referring to the Video embedded (obviously, there's 3 or 2 "clips", can't remember). I wasn't talking about the police one. No one refers to a video as a clip lol at least not this generation. Why remove it if you're right? .. If you put something like that in a CHANNEL description, it leads me to think that the videos are all in the public domain and yes I do know "this". Correct, I don't waste my time checking a video's description.
