Annoying Copyright Problem

So I had a clip submitted to me a few days ago that I uploaded. I reviewed the clip before and it didn't have any music or any other form of material that could be copyrighted. It was just a plain clip which I believe is not copyrighted?

But then the person who submitted the clip to me decided to notify his OWN clip as copyrighted! So I now have "Not good standards" :@ This really annoyed me!

Can anyone tell me if I made a mistake or if this guy is just being a twat.

Oh right. Though is game footage usually copyrighted?
No, only cut scenes o.O But it did have some music in the background but I could hardly hear it so I guessed it wasn't copyrighted :/ But I don't know why he submitted it if it had any copyright material in it :([DOUBLEPOST=1367443230,1367443151][/DOUBLEPOST]Here's the video - watch?v=fXlPnPyYFXo

Oh right, YouTube can be so sensitive. I uploaded a video of a public show at a festival with some classical music in it.... I distorted the audio a bit so I can get past the copyright. But a day later I seen a notice. Though my account was safe and just deleted the video. :|

Oh right! I guess I'll just have to be more care-full in the future! :)

Yeah, what do is if I think a Video is going to get copyrighted on YouTube, I'd upload it to Dailymotion. That website isn't as strict as YouTube. :)

But it's very quiet on Dailymotion... very little activity, nowhere near as busy as YouTube.

Can I ask if this was a full blown copyright strike or just a third part copyright claim? EA is known for third party claims with footage with no commentary over the top, thats all. If its a full copyright strike, the guy who sent it you is just being unfair and possibly claiming it to get at you :(
