This image represents the 6 annotations in the video.
Lines 1-4 are clickable mini-movie annotations at the end of the video.
Line 5 is "Featured Channel (InVideo Programming, my channel logo)
Line 6 is "Featured Video (InVideo Programming, my recommended video)

You can set #5 and #6 for your own channel here:
http://www.youtube.com/account_featured_programming

At this time, this video has 109,000 views.
YouTube also shows these stats:
Clicks: 2,463 (matches the total clicks shown in image)
Click Through Rate 2.88%
Closes 1,652 (matches total closes)
Close Rate 1.93%

OK, now for the questions.
Looking at line #1. The video has 109K views, Annotation #1 has 763 clicks. 763 is nowhere near 7.55% of 109K. How do they get 7.55%?

What does that mean when they say the annotation had 763 clicks and 116 closes. Does that mean that 647 people changed their mind?

When you look at these stats, how many people do you understand t0 actually use the annotations?

How does your channel watermark have a "subcribe" button? Mine doesn't. o: Or is that because I can't subscribe to my own channel?

And I think it means 763 people clicked the annotation, while 116 of them closed the annotation by clicking the X.

That's what it seems to me. The Subscribe feature does not appear on your own channel because you can't subscribe to yourself. It also does not appear on channels that you are already subscribed to.

It means of all the 763 people (100%) that actually clicked on the annotation, 7.5% didn't close it right away.

Edit: that's how I see it, I'm probably wrong. I do see what you mean though; numbers don't match up.

I do see what you mean though; numbers don't match up.

That's why I'm curious whether the time it takes to make annotations are worth it.
If 3% click through and watch another video, that is roughly 3K people in this case.
Actually, in this situation, if I made $1 per thousand people watching a video, then making $3 for the few minutes that it takes me to make an annotation is worth it.

If a video has 5K views, 3% is only 150 people. Ummm... not so much worthwhile =)

But if 7.55% clicked on #1, 6.45% #2, 5.10% #3, and 4.86% on #4, that means that 23.96% clicked through. That's a huge number!
