Animal Crossing goals?

So I am planning to start up an Animal Crossing: New Leaf series sometime after I've started my solo channel, but to make it a bit more fun I'd like to have some goals to achieve.

So does anyone of you have any suggestions or ideas on what I can achieve on AC:NL?
