An attitude of youtube to using pirate softwares

I know this thread is old, but I just happened to stumble upon it. I agree with all these people, I would buy these video editors, but I don't have the money, and most of the good ones are really expensive. Like, 600$ for Sony vegas 12? and 200$ just to upgrade? That is crazy!!
