An attempt to create a 3 minute video with minimal information

Gaijillionaire

I've got a yen for being in Japan!
So I found out that there was a crowdfunding starting for these games that play on iPhone like old videogame carts. However that's basically it! That's all the information there is. So I made a video that's 3 minutes long about it. I tried to make it engaging and interesting. If you choose to give feedback I'd kindly ask you to watch the whole thing and tell me what you think. Interesting enough to keep you the whole time? Any other comments welcome too.

First off, thank you for your review on my channel :)

I watched the video in it's entirety. It engaged me because I am self-admittidly a bit of a geek, so the idea of this happening made me pretty giddy.
Overall I think your commentary and the video behind it were very engaging. It was all very clear and very understandable. It was very evident that you had done your research too.. So that is always a plus.
As for your channel. I really like your layout, I feel that making your icon colour red instead of purple will help your channel display gel more. I know intro stuff is very difficult to work on at times but I feel a slicker intro would benefit your channel. Your end screen was much better than the intro screen.
You kept my interest the entire 3 minutes though so thank you for that :)

Ok thanks! What do you mean "making the icon red instead of purple?" I'm not sure what your reference is. The stripe or the G icon? I have gotten some other advice saying I should do an opening. But honestly, no idea what to do for that. I experimented with that in older videos, never was happy about it and it really cut into retention time, so I've just kind of skipped it and get right to it. If it was tv I'd go for longer but on YT it's so easy to click off, I want to prevent that at all costs. So for the last 6 videos or so it's just been a 4 second title screen
