Amazon competing with YouTube

Imagine that. My video reviews with toys being advertised to the side and I could possibly get commissions.

If we are early adopters AND amazons video service is really good, it might be quite beneficial for us. If it fails, it won't make a big difference for us.

#YouTube4Life.... Actually, I still don't get it so I can't really input my opinion on the subject. All I know is I've spent many years with YouTube, and if the day comes when Amazon becomes a "YouTube Type" website, then I'm gonna stick with youtube.

I just noticed this part:

Amazon has pitched YouTube networks on distributing their short-form videos through the e-commerce company's a-la-carte Instant Video service...

I wonder if that is just the first step, dealing with networks, because the networks have access to a large number of channels without going through Google/YouTube.

I also wonder if individual channels will be part of the discussion. There are a lot of very large channels who are not part of any networks. A couple decent sized channels come to mind as well :geek2:
