Amazon Competing with Youtube

I read about this earlier. I think it might work well for people who make web series, short film, or even product reviews like toys or tech since you're already on Amazon purchasing items or watching other streaming series. Shall be interesting.
 
That's really interesting I wonder if it only caters to the already big tubers or anyone can post anything[DOUBLEPOST=1462904365,1462904082][/DOUBLEPOST]Seems as though all you need is high quality and closed captioning to post so I might be uploading to two places then haha
 
I'm giving it a try now. Who knows.. I may be one of the early adapters and get successful.

The registration was easy. You just need to put your personal data and some tax information (I am not based in U.S.).

You need an additional banner in 4:3 format as a requirement. I'm uploading one video now but it takes very long and I can't see the progress clearly.
 
Hmm! That sounds like a really interesting idea. It's always good to be one of the first adopters of any new platform if it takes off, but those who get onto a platform that fizzles out may be angry for wasting their own time.
 
I think it is a good that YouTube has competition, and would love to hear how people find it. However, I don't have much faith in it it because of how well-established YouTube is and how much time the creators have invested building a following on it. This could just be me being pessimistic, but it's 9pm and I had college most of the day. Hahah!
 
I wonder for how long it will last. For product reviews could be a good service though. I wouldn't be surprised to see Amazon sending free products to affirmed reviewers for their video service.

I plan to sign up and give it a try. It should be interesting.

The question is should I have the same brand or a different one. I want to decide that before I sign up.
