Alternative to Twixtor?

So I'm broke and I hate pirating, but I want to use a Twixtor like effect in my editing for smooth slow motion clips and to not have to do manual audio syncing. Does anyone know of any good internal plugins for After Effects CS6? They must be Mac compatible. Thanks

If you have After Effects, you also have Premiere. Have you tried the basic speed adjustment in the right click menu of a video track?

Cut on either side of where you want to slow it down, right click (Rate Duration I think, or something like that).

Sure Twixtor will do it better, but better isn't always worth $600.

I don't have Premiere actually

Ouch, editing video in After Effects...

Google CS2. Maybe the CS2 version of Premiere Adobe has up for open download can do what you need. Then once it's slowed down, you could import the video into After Effects.

For montages, AE is fine haha. I do my commentaries in Final Cut Pro. I'll try that out. Thanks

Use Optical Flow in Final Cut Pro. Apparently its just as good, some say better, then Twixtor. Never used it myself yet, but there are step by step guides on how to use it on the web, and YouTube. Seems pretty simple to do.
