Almost at Half a Million Views and 150 Subs....

That's AMAZING!!!! I'm stuck on 2 subs and 30 views! How do you only have 150 subscribers if you have sooooo damn much views on you videos?? :PP

Well my two videos of my CIWS firing have the majority of the views at over 100k each (one is almost at 200k and it's 4 years younger), followed by my pepper spray video which has about 38k, then the accidental punch to my balls which has about 22k and is pretty new actually. Most of my videos that I have put more effort into (editing, music, etc.) do not get tons of views YET, most of my views come from the (hey, let me pull out the camera and just shoot what happens) videos.[DOUBLEPOST=1380942650,1380942581][/DOUBLEPOST]

Well with so many views and so little subs, it makes me feel like a one night stand or something.... more subs would make it easier to get more views, but I'm just not sub material I guess, lol.

From April 2008 to January 2012, I averaged about 20 views a day. Then I got my dog and uploaded a video and saw the whole monetization thing. It caught my interest so I started doing SEO for my videos which got a few of them to the top of a lot of searches (this took a lot of experimenting). I started uploading a bunch of dog videos, then I switched to time lapse, lately I've been doing slow motion stuff and actually editing. I just enjoy making videos and getting reactions from people, this is why I make videos, take pictures, and do a lot of the things I do. If I didn't enjoy it, I wouldn't do it. Search engine optimization and finding forums I actually interact in seem to get me a lot of views. I go to dog forums, mountain bike forums, time lapse forums, etc. There I can share and view what other people with similar interests have done (pics, advice, videos, etc.) Oh, and if you're brave, facepunch and funnyjunk are good, but if your material is not up to the "standards", you will get troll raped. I only post certain videos to those sites, use at your own risk.

I got banned from Facepunch for a few days for posting that video of the maggots in the dude's gums that was posted here earlier, lol. I was going to post my new video of my Dalmatian dream flying on FP, but I was banned. OH WELL! Did you get responses, good or bad? I've received mixed, I learned what I should and shouldn't post there. One video made them judge every comment I made on music for a month after I did it in a REALLY negative way
