@JonceGames
Interesting. I wonder why a mod deleted your post? Either way, you're here now so allow me to gaze upon your channel...
It goes without saying that your Clash Royale videos are far better than your Clash of Clans ones in terms of audio, frame design and overall production quality. Recording in your car was a good choice as it really is a portable audio recording studio as it knocks out a lot of background noise.
On the topic of audio, I'm noticing a lot of 'pops' as the audio is clipping when you tap the screen. I understand that you're recording everything on your phone/tablet which is a neat and convenient idea. If you want better production quality out of your videos however, then you really need to consider investing in a seperate microphone to give even more clarity to your voice and eliminate all the tapping pops.
Your overall branding needs some work. When watching your videos and looking at your thumbnails, especially the Clash Royale ones, it gives the impression your channel is a promotional/marketing one for Supercell than it is about 'Jonce Games'. This is emphasised with your current logo design as it just fades and blends into the background of your frame with the Clash Royale logo, characters, colour scheme and design taking precedence.
What you need is a new logo design, unique font/typeface and a colour scheme that you prefer which serves as the basis of your brand and use it for your future videos. Your channel should be about you; how you play, your choices, commentary etc. Apply that to the frame in your future videos. Make sure 'Jonce Games' is what viewers think of when watching your videos and not Clash Royale. You also need a new logo sting as it doesn't match your content at all.
I'm very interested to see how your channel pans out. Mobile games don't trend well at all on YouTube and not a lot of content creators focus exclusively on mobile games. That's changing quite recently with more mobile developers organising brand deals with popular content creators but whether the views justify the cost of these deals remains to be seen. Keep up the good work and good luck with your channel.
@dopeglam
Glad to see you're already thinking about how to improve your videos. It shows that you're keen to keep going with making content on YouTube and are aiming to succeed with it.
Ignoring lighting and editing, what you can improve on is your audio. It sounds like you're using your on camera audio which can work for most applications but to add a little more clarity and quality to your voice, saving up and investing in a shotgun microphone or a lavalier/lapel microphone will help immensely. This suggestion is personal preference as your family and kids take priority so money should be spent on them first and foremost.
I'm noticing you're adding a colour grade to your footage in your latest videos which works for the most part but will looks much better with more lighting. You already know that so no point in restating the obvious.
What you really need to work on is your overall branding, specifically your thumbnails. You've tried several different designs but none of them are consistent. "Racism Towards White People", "NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE" and "HOW TO GET FREE THINGS" are the closest I can find to a design that works for your channel - photo/screenshot on the left hand side, solid colour block with a nice typeface on the right with the video title. "HOW TO GET FREE THINGS" is definitely the best out of the three so use that as a basis for your future thumbnail designs.
Good luck!
@Kane J Goodridge
Channel header and avatar is simple but works well for your branding, especially the colours. Incorporate those colours and even the logo (the cartoon face of yours) into your thumbnails to help give consistency to the design.
Content wise it's on the right track. Your green screen setup in your latest video is done quite well but you need to zoom your camera/webcam out a bit as the top of your head clips out every now and then. For future videos make sure to add your alpha channel to your green screen footage to keep your videos consistent.
Biggest issue for your videos at the moment has to do with your audio. Judging by the way your camera is set up, you're using an external microphone or audio from your webcam. The problem is there's a hell of a lot of background noise seeping through, especially with what sounds like your computer fans (you wouldn't happen to be running an AMD system, would you?

). Before you start speaking with your recording, record at least 10 seconds of room noise (microphone on, don't make a sound) and use that as a noise sample to cut/reduce it from your final audio file.
If you're using Audacity, search through this thread and look for my advice for
@Hellolabgroup with how to do it. If you're using Adobe Audition, the process is very much the same - select the room sample noise, go to Effects > Noise Reduction/Restoration > Capture Noise print, then select the entire audio recording and go to Effects > Noise Reduction/Restoration > Noise Reduction and hit OK. If you have a clean sample, leaving the noise reduction process at it's default setting should do the trick.
I hope this helps and good luck with your channel.
@The New Travel Blog
As requested I'll only be looking at your videos from the 'Hostel Questions' playlist.
Considering your videos and channel are focused on travelling I understand the convenience of recording everything on your built in laptop webcam or your phone. It's easier and cheaper to carry around a laptop/phone instead of individual cameras and audio equipment. The catch of course is that the quality isn't as impressive as it could be.
Investing in a separate HD webcam capable of 1080p quality will help a lot immensely and you should also consider bringing a USB microphone with your to help give more clarity and quality to your audio recordings. This suggestion is for the videos where you're recording on your laptop (Hostel Question #11). For recording on your phone, you should consider investing in a Rode smartLav+ which is a lavalier/lapel mic for smart phones (mostly iPhone and select Android devices). You might also want to check out the Rode VideoMic Me or i-XY.
Investing in a stabilising rig for your phone or even a tripod for your phone will help reduce the shaking in some of your shots.
Finally, you need to work on your thumbnails. Since it's a travel vlog, take some photos of the hostels you're staying at and use that as your thumbnail image. Slightly blur that image and apply that nice big, bold text you're currently using and it'll look fantastic. Alternatively, what you can do is apply a solid, transparent colour on 2/3rds of the image and 'cut' the text out of that colour. If you need help visualising it let me know and I'll be more than happy to make a sample for you.
Other than that you're on the right track. Keep it up!
@Tayo
Let's start with the look of your channel. The colours, font/typeface used in your channel header, avatar and latest 4 thumbnails and the overall design is spot on. For future video thumbnails keep those key parts of your brand consistent.
Content wise, I don't hear anything wrong with your commentary at all. There really isn't anything I can advise you on since you seem to know what you're doing. In regards to your lost subscribers, that tends to happen whenever YouTube/Google changes their algorithms and there's nothing you can do about it. Keep uploading videos, be consistent with the uploads and you'll regain those lost subscribers and continue to grow.
