@Klink

Thanks so much for the review! I will take what you said and I'll work harder to change and make my channel better and consistent! ^_^

@CarnatikProductions

Your videos are well edited and your channel header/thumbnails starting from Bieber Fever are spot on. For the videos I'm noticing some auto focusing issues with your camera. Never use auto focus. Considering you move around a lot you need yourself a camera operator to help keep you in focus or try to keep yourself the same distance away from the camera. The ISO on your camera is also pushed a bit too high (or using the wrong ISO), even in your 'Skinny People Problems' video when you've got yourself a 2-light setup. You can tell because there's a bit of noise in the video. Your latest video 'Why I hate the Cold' is on the right track.

To remove noise, you need to keep your ISO as low as possible for the cleanest possible image while still being high enough to pull in enough light. I recommend looking into the educational work by director and filmmaker Phillip Bloom, starting with this video on Vimeo:
. The general rule is stay away from ISOs that are multiples of 125 (125, 250, 500, 1000) and try and use ISOs 160, 320, 640, 1250 and 2500.

You keep improving with every video you make, so keep it up and you'll do well.

@Kitonera

Cheers for the channel link but you should also fix it up in your profile so people can get to it much easier.

The content on your channel is special and it's not something many people get to see. I'm glad it exists and I hope you upload more. Out of curiosity, what camera are you using for your videos? 60fps is very interesting for film as it's not something many people use. Generally the standard is either 24 or 25fps. You should also consider getting a stabilising rig or at the very least, tying your camera onto a stick. The further you keep your hands away from the camera the smoother and less shaky your shots will be.

Your channel header needs to be extended to fill the whole area and your thumbnails need a bit of work to at least show that the videos belong to you. Other than that, keep up the good work!

@lark29

I know I'm pretty rough with my reviews but again, I'm being absolutely 100% honest and am doing so to help people as best as possible.

I'm hearing a constant hiss which is conflicting with your voice. It's obvious you're using a headset microphone, since I can hear you moving around a lot which is being transferred through the wire of your headset. Since you're still in school, try and find some tutorials online about the audio program you're using to try and knock out background noise as much as possible. If you can, try and save up some cash to invest in a decent condenser microphone.

From a visual branding perspective, you need everything - logo, avatar, channel header and thumbnails to start off with. If you're having trouble making it yourself you can either commission someone to do it on your behalf (although this will cost money) or seek advice on how to create images in the "Branding and Channel Design" or "Graphics, Intros & Music" forums here on YTTalk. Specify what programs you have access to so people can help you as best as possible.

Good luck.

Greetings everyone! Although I am new to YTTalk I'll be more than happy to check out any of your channels and offer my advice and honest critiques about them. A fresh pair of eyes just might be what your channel needs.

There are no stirct guidelines. Your channel can be about anything, target any demographic and be of any size. I'll offer my constructive criticisms regarding content, branding, art or technical issues.

Shall we begin?

@Swigity Gaming

To be honest, I have no idea what your channel is supposed to be or represent. The juxtaposition of Call of Duty gameplay with vlog style stories in your later videos doesn't work at all. Having commentary over gameplay when not a Let's Play works if you're talking about gaming related issues, sort of similar to what Total Biscuit does with his game industry commentary videos. The mic you used for your later two videos is great in comparison to the terrible mic you used for your gameplay videos.

Your branding needs a lot of work. The idea of using graffitti text is nice but you need to work on it a lot more. Using the font/typeface as is with transparency is not great on the background art you have for your avatar and channel header. Try to keep the text a solid colour. You also need to find a way to incorporate the colours and font/typeface into your thumbnails.
