Hay, we have a channel and it has 560 something subs but has had that for a while. I’ve been looking back on the vlogs and in all honesty I’m not happy with them and know I could of done them better. I have all the raw files and I could re-do them all to what I would consider a higher quality. So here is the question, Do I read-boot the channel or literally start afresh?

There is also some other factors like ‘larger’ channels with some influence has blacklisted us and we don’t get many videos over 100 views recently but that’s by the by.

So, what do you think is a solution to this? I love what we do but want it better for the viewers and us.

How can you redo a vlog? Isn't it meant to be a video journal of your life? It seems to me that redoing the lot would be a bit fake, maybe and I'd have thought starting fresh would be preferable to that.

How have you been blacklisted?

Fake is probably the wrong word. But, vlogs surely are meant to be of the moment.

I definitely agree. Also, seeing your old videos aren't as good as your new ones can be entertaining to your viewers. My advice is to just start uploading higher quality content from here.

I think you just gotta look forward and produce content to the quality you are happy with. Keep comparing them to your previous vlogs to make sure you are happy with the standard you are producing.

Keep working hard and creating the quality you want to create.
 
I wouldn't want to redo the old videos. Just move on and create better content from now. I have viewers relooking at my older stuff out of curiosity and they were surprised at how different the older videos are ^^.

I also wonder who has blacklisted you? Youtube might blacklist you, but how can youtubers blacklist you?
That sub/view ratio isn´t that bad either. I definitely have work ratio than that!
 
I agree with everybody above...and I'm sure that another YouTuber cannot blacklist you, whatever that means.

Almost every creator improves over time, and almost every creator cringes when they look back on older videos. Instead of putting time and energy into re-doing old videos, make an effort to produce new ones that are of better quality.
 
Thank you for all the comments, please let me clarify. The community I am in contains, weirdly, a lot of YouTube politics. I know it sounds weird considering it’s a Disney Community but there is 1 or 2 quite large channels and if they don’t like you then there is a lot of behind the scene chatter on Social Media and what you can notice is if a person/people don’t like you or decide that something you’ve said isn’t something they like then all of a sudden you’ll lose subscribers. I kid you not. I dunno if that’s explained it well enough?

What I think I’m going to do is move the vlogs etc to a 2017 playlist and then just hit out some better content for this year coming. Thanks loads, this is why this forum is so good. Friendly and useful info.
