Advice on this camera? Should I get it or back to searching?

So I've been looking for a camera to upgrade from using the one I have from 2007 or my phone.

Here are a couple I have considered. I want one with a flippy screen so I can see what I'm doing.

Or should I get one without a flippy screen? What kind of camera do you guys use?

Looking for one for £150-£180 or less. The best I can get at this price will be good. Not willing to spend anymore than this.

1. Panasonic-DMC-TZ55

2. PANASONIC DMC-TZ55EB-K

I can't find so much information on what is the difference between them (sorry but I havent googled for so long) but I think in this price range there is not so much to say except that all modern point and shoot cameras (2014+) act kind of the same way... they will do good in a good light condition.

The drawback compared to a dslr for example is that there is no possibility to change the lenses to give a more depth of view (aperture size) or a wider angle if one desire.

But many bih youtubers started and probably some still use point and shoot so, if this is your price range just buy anything you feel good with it (maybe try them at some store?) And be sure to have a good lightning or record using the day light in your favor :)

But thats only my opinion. Good luck! :)

This is a step up from the previous choice! :) (in my opinion again hehe). Good luck! Just remember to check the price and see if you also can find a dslr in the same price range like the canon t3i (600D) or even a nikon 3200 or 3300. OBS: I recommend a canon since the color will be warmer compared to the nikon directly from the camera. (not a big deal if you can edit the color of your video).

But all in all.. the NX3000 seems like a good choice anyway (if you are not willing to go to a "bigger and more complicated" dslr)

Good luck friend! :)

Hey, thanks for your advice. I think I will stick with this choice. I can get it for £220 here which is less than the DSLR cameras. I have an old DSLR camera but I want to move away from that. I want something less bulky and easy to carry because I want to be doing some vlogging.

But that was helpful! it's good to have another mind helping you think about this kind of stuff!
