So I make gaming videos. My friends know this but keep saying I should cover songs due to me singing all the time in skype calls and they think I'm good. Should I just upload them on my main channel or make a new channel?

Not really in the same category. New channel. Unless you are going into doing cover songs while playing games, but i personally would not watch those videos so i doubt many people would either.

Unless you're going to make it a big thing then there's no point in making a new channel for a one off really I think you should make a video and then if people like it you could then make a channel for it

I would say make a new channel if you want to cover songs.

I would personally go for a new channel. If you find audience that is interested in covers but not videogames stuff, I think they would better subscribe to a cover-only channel rather than a videogames channel with some covers thrown around.

You don't need to make a new channel for separate subjects. Just make a playlist, or divide these videos into episodes of different showings, that easy.

Move it to a separate channel since it doesn't have much to do with what you built yourself up on it will only confuse your audience.

I think in the day multiple channels were a good idea but a friend told me now one channel is the best idea. I think it might be due to channels being harder to build up then a few years ago which makes sense. Like back in October when I rebooted my channel I decided to put everything on it games,music,vlogs,cosplay stuff.

But that is just me.

Tbh, do a playlist.
If they become REALLY popular, you could always make a new channel and then also up,old to that same playlist (so the vids are on both channels).


This is a dilemma I've had myself, but sometimes it's nice to see the other side of someone on one channel

Also: you could ask your subs in a seperate video for what they want ?
